La Liga US Schedule: ESPN+ Kickoff Times in Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific
La Liga kickoff times from a US viewer's perspective. ESPN+ has the full schedule.

La Liga in the US lives on ESPN+. Spanish League matches kick off in three primary windows: 14:00 CET (Spain time), 16:15 CET, 18:30 CET, and 21:00 CET (the late kickoff). Each translates to different US time zones. Here is the practical map.
Spanish kickoff times in US time zones
| CET kickoff | US Eastern | US Central | US Mountain | US Pacific |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 14:00 CET | 8:00 a.m. ET | 7:00 a.m. CT | 6:00 a.m. MT | 5:00 a.m. PT |
| 16:15 CET | 10:15 a.m. ET | 9:15 a.m. CT | 8:15 a.m. MT | 7:15 a.m. PT |
| 18:30 CET | 12:30 p.m. ET | 11:30 a.m. CT | 10:30 a.m. MT | 9:30 a.m. PT |
| 21:00 CET | 3:00 p.m. ET | 2:00 p.m. CT | 1:00 p.m. MT | 12:00 p.m. PT |
Add one hour during the late October through late March CET window (no DST in Spain at this time and the US has shifted to Standard Time). The exact offset is most consistent during the November through early March period.
How La Liga matchdays unfold for US viewers
A typical La Liga weekend in the US looks like this:
Friday:
- Single match at 21:00 CET (3:00 p.m. ET on ESPN+)
Saturday:
- 14:00 CET (8:00 a.m. ET) — usually one lower-table match
- 16:15 CET (10:15 a.m. ET) — mid-table match
- 18:30 CET (12:30 p.m. ET) — feature match
- 21:00 CET (3:00 p.m. ET) — Real Madrid or Barcelona, or another marquee match
Sunday:
- Same four windows as Saturday, including the Sunday 21:00 CET “Partido del Día” — the day’s headline match.
ESPN+ carries all of them simultaneously. The Real Madrid–Barcelona Clásico is typically Saturday or Sunday at 21:00 CET, the 3:00 p.m. ET slot for US viewers.
How to find listings
ESPN+ shows the full La Liga schedule in the soccer section with US-localized kickoff times. The ESPN app mirrors the same data with reminders. La Liga’s own English-language site (laliga.com/en) shows kickoff times in the user’s selected time zone.
A note on the early Saturday window
The 14:00 CET (8:00 a.m. ET) Saturday La Liga window is convenient for East Coast US viewers — it’s brunch-time Saturday morning football. Premier League fans on the East Coast already have a 7:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. routine; La Liga’s 8:00 a.m. kickoff slots neatly into the same window.
Clásico
Both annual Clásicos (one home and one away for each club) are typically scheduled as the Sunday 21:00 CET match. In the US that’s 3:00 p.m. ET — convenient afternoon viewing on the East Coast, midday on the West.
The Clásico simulcasts on the main ESPN linear channel for most editions and is also available on ESPN+ as the standard La Liga coverage. ESPN Deportes carries the Spanish-language broadcast for cable subscribers with the Spanish-language sports tier.
