Copyright & DMCA Notifications (UK)
Last reviewed:
Stream2Watch — Legal Sports Guide is an editorial publication. We do not host streams, embed players, or distribute video. The most common copyright notifications we receive are based on confusion with operators on similar domain names (stream2watch.tv, .com, etc.). We are not those sites. Please verify the domain before filing.
This page sets out the procedure for filing a copyright notification under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (which our US-based service partners require) and equivalent UK and EU notification mechanisms.
US DMCA notification
Under 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3), include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the authorized person
- Identification of the copyrighted work
- The full URL of the page on this site claimed to infringe
- Your contact information
- Good-faith belief statement
- Statement under penalty of perjury
Send to: [email protected], subject DMCA Notification.
UK copyright notification
For UK rightsholders, the equivalent notification under the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 should include:
- Your name and contact details
- Identification of the copyrighted work
- The full URL on this site claimed to infringe
- A statement that you are the copyright owner or authorized agent
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized
Send to the same address, subject UK Copyright Notification.
Our response
We acknowledge receipt within 48 hours, review the specific URL and claim, and if substantiated, take down or modify the page within an additional 48 hours.
Misuse
Filing notifications in bad faith — including against editorial coverage of broadcaster pricing or rights — may expose the filer to liability under 17 U.S.C. §512(f) (US) or the Defamation Act 2013 (UK). We refer bad-faith filings to legal counsel.
