This page describes the cookies and similar technologies used on Stream2Watch — Legal Sports Guide.
Cookies we set directly
This site sets the following first-party cookies:
| Cookie | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|
_locale_preference | Remembers your selected locale (US, UK, DE) so you land on the correct version on return visits | 90 days |
_consent_state | Records your cookie-consent choices | 365 days |
We do not set first-party tracking cookies. We do not maintain a first-party tracking ID for return visits.
Third-party cookies
The following third-party services may set cookies when you visit pages on this site:
Google Analytics 4
Used for aggregate traffic measurement. GA4 sets _ga (visitor identifier, 2-year expiry), _gid (session identifier, 24-hour expiry), and _gat (rate limiting, 1-minute expiry). IP truncation is enabled. Read Google’s policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Advertising partners
Our current advertising partners may set cookies for:
- Frequency capping (limiting how many times you see a given ad)
- Retargeting (showing you related ads on other sites you visit later)
- Anti-fraud and viewability measurement
- Cross-device measurement
Specific advertising partners change as we test ad networks. Currently no third-party advertising is loaded on this site; the ads_enabled flag is set to false during our editorial soft-launch window. When advertising is enabled, this page will be updated with the specific networks active.
CDN and security partners
We use a content delivery network and a web application firewall (Cloudflare) which may set technical cookies for security and bot mitigation. These cookies are essential to site operation. See Cloudflare’s policy at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.
Cookie controls
You can control cookies through:
- Browser settings. Every major browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) allows you to block all cookies, block third-party cookies only, or delete cookies set previously.
- Industry opt-outs. The Your Online Choices tool (https://www.youronlinechoices.com/) and the Network Advertising Initiative (https://optout.networkadvertising.org/) let you opt out of interest-based advertising from participating ad networks.
- Do Not Track. We honor the DNT browser signal — when DNT is enabled, we do not load Google Analytics on your session.
What happens if you block cookies
Blocking essential cookies (the consent-state cookie, security cookies) may break some site features. Blocking analytics and advertising cookies has no effect on your ability to read the site.
